Liming with the neighbours

One of the good things about living here are our great neighbours. Two sundays ago we decided to have a barbecue around the pool with everybody.

There were lots of food, drinks and dancing.

More liming with the neighbours

Since the other weekend was so much fun, we decided that we were gonna do it again this Sunday. 

To make it a bit more Monday morning friendly (apparently some people got too hung over on our last liming) we decided to make it a brunch.

Everyone chipped in and it turned out we had food for an army. The italian neighbour made pizza and bread from scratch, I made pancakes, the venezuelan made empanadas and the list went on and on...

The brunch was followed by great time at the pool!

Swimming lesson

This saturday we took Clara to her first official swimming lesson. Unfortunately it did not go as smooth as I thought it was gonna be. I guess Clara was afraid of the teacher and did not enjoy it at all. We left early and hopefully she'll get used to him. We'll see. 

Gift from Brazil

Clara got a delayed birthday gift in the mail from Brazil. Malu sent her these cute finger puppets. She loves it!

Beach day

Finally we got to see the famous Maracas Bay Beach two weekends ago.

Robert had a work "team building" beach fun day arranged and we got to lime (that is trini for hang out) with his coworkers and enjoy a beautiful day.

While Flavia was enjoying a childless time, I was babysitting Gabi and Manu and all girls were having a good time.

Fast and Furious

Our neighbors let Clara drive their car. She had tried it before but she didn't understand the concept of pushing the gas pedal with her foot. 

This time she had no problem with it. Now we need to work on making her steer.
