Beach day

Finally we got to see the famous Maracas Bay Beach two weekends ago.

Robert had a work "team building" beach fun day arranged and we got to lime (that is trini for hang out) with his coworkers and enjoy a beautiful day.

Summer vacation

I had to wake Clara up at 8am today so we could go out and enjoy the day (also to get her good and tired for her afternoon nap).

We got to enjoy the beach before it got too hot:

When we got back to the house, Clara had two servings of lunch. I guess the beach makes everyone hungry!

I asked her to smile for the camera but I guess I caught her half way there...

Told Robert that I think Clara is starting to get a feel of what Summer Vacation feels like! :)

At the beach with mommy

No creche today! It's teacher's day and they take the day off. It was a beautiful day so we decided to enjoy it at the beach with Bel, who took the pictures.

Beach time and Rooftop

We decided to try and see if Clara would take her nap on the beach. It didn't work but at least we got to enjoy an hour and a half of beautiful weather in Ipanema.

After nap (at home) and lunch we decided to soak in the last bit of today's sun at vovô and vovó's rooftop.

Clara was done with taking pictures, so these didn't turn out so great...
