While Joana went to run her 5k race this morning, I got to spend some quality time with Clara.  Today is Republic Day in Trinidad!

Carnival is coming

When you life in Trinidad, you plan your life around Carnival. Since we want to be a part of it next year, we headed to one of the bands to see some costumes.

Clara wanted to try them on!

 

In the end I decided for the simple (and cheaper) version of this:
